On July 20, the "Toward cultural prosperity-China County Region Mass Cultural Festival(First Stop)", organized by National Development Center of State Public Culture of China Cultural Media Group Limited(CCMG), kicked off in Zhongjiang, Sichuan Province, and its artistic performances and cultural activities brought the local people a wonderful cultural feast.

Yang Shoucheng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the CCMG, said in the opening ceremony that county, the "joint area" of the urban and rural cultures, was significant not only for the mass culture to originate and inherit, but also for the building of the public cultural service system. In recent years, we have achieved satisfactory "hard power", for our urbanization has seen rapid development and people's living standards are continuously improving. However, in terms of "soft power", it is of great significance to strengthen the building of public culture at the county level.
